“Seeing with the eyes of Christ, I can give to others much more than their outward necessities; I can give them the look of love which they crave. ”
Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI
Deus Caritas Est, #18
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen.
Christ recognizes our need for real food by giving himself to us in the Sacrament of the Eucharist as bread and wine. After being fed here first, Holy Family parishioners can in turn feed those who crave both his nourishment and practical care.
Parishioners are encouraged to help with this on-going mission to feed our hungry neighbors.
